Originally from Versailles, Kentucky, Devon Bradley grew up immersed in the thoroughbred industry through family involvement. Devon is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where she completed a degree in Economics and was a four-year-letter winner on the Battling Bishops women’s soccer team. After graduation, Devon worked for State Street Global Advisors as an internal wholesaler selling SPDR ETFs in Boston, MA. She left SSGA to follow her passion for horse racing. Starting off as a hotwalker for Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey, Bradley became McGaughey’s travelling assistant gaining a great insight into the world of racing under his tutelage. After three years on the racetrack, Devon decided to take a look at the thoroughbred industry from a different lens joining the Bradley Thoroughbreds team run by her father Pete Bradley. Devon represents a set of clients in the purchase and sale of thoroughbreds at public auction and through private acquisitions such as multiple stakes winner and graded stakes placed INTO MYSTIC. She additionally assists regular business with BT’s existing clients. Devon is extremely passionate about the racing aspect of the thoroughbred industry, and with that has found a niche placing stallion prospects such as SMOOTH DADDY at Compass Stallions in Ireland and SOLOMINI at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds in New York amongst others as well as sourcing broodmare prospects retiring off the track.
