Erin Crady

Executive Director, Thoroughbred Charities of America

Erin Crady is the executive director of Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA), a non-profit organization that provides grants to charities that work to provide a better life for Thoroughbreds and the people who work with them.  Since 1990, TCA has distributed over $21 million in grants to more than 200 charities in the areas of Thoroughbred retirement, retraining and adoption; backstretch and farm worker employee programs; equine research; and therapeutic riding.

Crady entered the Thoroughbred industry in 2006 as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA). In 2008, TCA became the charitable arm of TOBA, and in 2009, Crady began effectively splitting her time between the two organizations. In January 2014, Crady resigned her TOBA duties and moved into a full-time role with TCA.  She is responsible for all fundraising and the facilitation of grant-making activities within the organization.

Prior to her work with TOBA and TCA Crady worked as an account executive and media buyer for Group 5 Advertising in Gainesville, Florida. She also previously worked as an account executive for an online gaming company in New York, New York.  She is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and also has a Master of Arts in Media Communications.

Crady also serves on the Board of Directors of the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance.
