Randy Moss

Biography: 

Randy Moss is a thoroughbred racing analyst for NBC Sports, and a contributor to their Olympics and football coverage.  He also is a field reporter for NFL Network.

Moss grew up in Hot Springs, Ark., where his love for horse racing was cultivated at Oaklawn Park, where he later worked as Director of Operations.  After attending the University of Arkansas, he left pharmacy school to begin a career in the newspaper business with the Arkansas Democrat, Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He also appeared on local television before joining ESPN in 1999 and moving to NBC in 2011.

In addition to his longtime coverage of horse racing on multiple networks - also including CBS and FOX - Moss is beginning his 10th season with NFL Network, first as a studio host and then a reporter, and has covered three Super Bowls.  With the NBC family of networks, Moss has covered the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and Rio's 2016 Summer Olympics, in addition to play-by-play duties for Ivy League and CAA college football and basketball. He also worked as an on-course host for Golf Channel.

Moss now resides in suburban Minneapolis.
