Starlight Racing began in 2000 as the culmination of founders Jack and Laurie Wolf’s virtually lifelong interest in horse racing and has continued to this day. The only change being that in 2013 Laurie, along with a few supporting partners, started StarLadies Racing, our all female, all fillies racing partnership. Jack is CEO and Managing Partner in Starlight Racing while Laurie is CEO and Managing Partner in StarLadies. We employ the best trainers, jockeys, and bloodstock agents in the country. Our team gives us the significant advantage of professionals with longstanding records of winning the biggest races at the best racetracks.
In our search for the promising Thoroughbred stars of tomorrow, each year we form partnerships to acquire yearlings at the Fasig-Tipton July, Saratoga Select August, and Keeneland September sales. Our Starlight Racing partnership opens for a very short time each year from June to August and then closes in September, however, it is never too early or late to inquire about the partnership or to verbally commit to the following year's opportunities.
